Artist's Comments

The stitched version of Moonlight Visit. Original sketch in my gallery.

A fair princess makes a new friend in the moonlight.

EDIT:

I was so surprised to see this this morning! Thank you so much :iconpeams: for submitting this for a DD, and thank you Kitten of Woe for featuring it!

I've never had so many comments in all my time on DA (combined! LOL!) so it will take me a while to thank everyone who comments and fav's - but I will try to get to everyone! Thanks again! I'm glad that so many people appreciate needlework, and the skill and effort that goes into creating a piece from scratch!

Moonlight Visit XS by ~Handie. This artist is not only skilled at cross stitch, she also charts her own original cross stitch designs for retail and the suggester said that this "has a wonderful use of colour shading with just a touch of metallic thread to highlight the dragon's scales, and the fabric it has been stitched on is a perfect compliment to the pattern." Very charming and delightful to see in fullview. (Suggested by *peams and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe)

Extinction is more than the end of something with a long run in the past. Extinction is murdering everything that would have evolved from that species in the future.

Nice stitching. Now if only my mah would do something like this for me.

LOL! does she stitch? if she does, the pattern is available.... LOL!
Or better yet - YOU could stitch it (it's not hard. Just takes patience!)

I don't stitch. That's the one art talent I lack. Apparently that gene passed me. Yeah, my mah stitches, knits, sews. She can do all that stuff. I can barely mend a pair of pants.

Yes. I did. That's how I know I suck. I tried several times. Even needle point. Didn't do so well. The only thing I can do is make friendship bracelets with knotting. No, that gene didn't come to me. My mother still holds the claim on it. I'm certain somewhere in the family, all the artistic and music genes came to me and bumped that one out of the pool.
