Found out tonight that a family member lost her long struggle against cancer. I haven't seen her in many years, but I have fond memories of her. She fought a hard battle, but unfortunately it was just too much and now her struggle is over. How many people have fought this terrible, devastating, curse on humanity? How many lives has it ruined?
I hate it.

It's a tough thing to have to watch or hear about someone going through that ugly battle.
What's worse is that her daughter also has cancer which is past the point of hope, and she has had to watch her mother die, knowing what is soon in store for her. I feel so bad for her. It must be awful
