Fall is here, and it's exploding in riotous colours of yellow, oranges and reds.  Every where I go I see the trees changing colours, and it's so beautiful.  But its also sad because that means that winter is coming and soon everything around me will be cold and white.  Winter has beauties of it's own, but spring, summer and yes, even fall are just the seasons where you feel so alive.

Last weekend hubby took me on a little photo trip.  We took 2 days and drove around our little corner of the world.  We went places where I've never been before and I had a great time taking so many photos!  The only thing is that the sky was perfect clear blue - not a cloud in sight.  So,it wasn't exactly the BEST conditions for photos, as you tend to get a bit of haze in the air and the light is so harsh - but I'm hoping that I'll still be able to get some good shots out of it.

We stayed in a little hotel over night, and the next morning we were packing up to leave.  Hubby was out at the car just outside the door putting our stuff in the car and I decided to do a last "room check" to make sure we weren't forgetting anything.  So I went over to my corner of the bed and I lifted up the bed spread to make sure that I didn't leave any socks or anything under there and found a surprise tucked just under the corner of the bed.

It was a pair of underwear.  A red pair of underwear.  A red pair of plaid boxers, to be exact.  And seeing as I don't wear red plaid boxers, and neither does hubby I could only say one thing..... "GROSS!!!"   :omfg:

Yep = they were all rolled up the way that undies are after someone just takes them off - so ... yeah....  they weren't even clean red plaid boxers.

That was nice...  :sarcasticclap:

So, if you happen to have been in my neck of the woods recently and you are missing a pair of red plaid boxers let me know - I can tell you where to find them....

So, at least after that we saw the most breath taking views of the fall colours on some very large hills.  The thing is;  ok, when you are on a windy road through a mountainous or hilly area, the road is always narrow, and steep, with blind curves but the view is SO DAMN AMAZING!!!  :OMG:

I wanted in the worst way to get out and shoot it but it's impossible to just stop your car right there!!

So, I had hubby drive me back up to the top of the hill, drop me off and wait for me at the bottom, while I walked down and took pictures.  On the OUTSIDE of the guard rail.

Yeah, so did you ever wonder just what the ground is like on the OUTSIDE of the guard rail? Well.... let me tell you all about it.  Its soft.  VERY soft. As in - holy  shit, I'd better keep one hand on the rail just in case I start a land slide here!!!   :sprint:   I mean - ok, it's soft, the weeds and thistles are up to my yoo hoo (I'm short, ok??)  and the baggy shirt I'm wearing keeps getting snagged on the rail posts (which are cut off blunt and ragged)  So I'm trying to take pics of this, while keeping one hand on the rail and trying not to think about how I'm deathly afraid of heights I am, and how I could easily go plunging to me death any moment!!!  :stupidme:

Ok - so now that I've laid that out you'd better be suitably impressed when you see photos that look like a hilly range - even if they aren't that good ..........because now you know the circumstances.   (I may have exaggerated the plunging to my death at any moment... it may have been more like "tripping and sliding down the hill and hitting every thistle on the way down with my bare legs and arms.  And maybe some broken glasses and a bad case of road rash... but that's beside the point!!!)    Even if you're not impressed- act like you are...........or I may have to go back there and throw myself over the edge.  :O_o:

For those of you who took part in the post processing challenge, you may be interested to know that a few of us are in the process of setting up a group for the very purpose of post processing!  We had so much fun we thought it would be good to do it more often!   I hope a few of you will join us when we are ready to open up shop.  We've got some irons in the fire and are almost ready to open it up, so keep it in mind and watch my journals for the big announcement of when you can join!  I can see the line up already forming...  hey you guys in the back!!  NO PUSHING!!  :pissedoff:

Thank you all for your continued support.  I apologize that I cannot respond to every fav.  I will always respond to comments, but I just don't have enough time in my days to reply to faves.  I hope you understand.

Please, enjoy the features!
