How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Did you know that's what today was ? Neither did I!!! Wow! Imagine that! I have my own bloody day on a calendar and everything!!

And it was SO nice of so many people to take notice of it! Really - I seriously enjoyed the name calling, insulting, jabbing and trickery! Yay! I can hardly wait until Pick On Handie day comes around again next year!!

So school started today!!

I can't tell you the joy it brought me! I had peace and quiet in this house.

I played online, I cleaned and washed my floors, I swam and relaxed in the sunshine all afternoon.... aaaaahhhhhhh. It's really the only good thing about the end of summer. Well, that and maybe some fall photos! Hopefully I'll be able to get some this year - last year it happened so fast - the wind came up and blew everything down before it could really change colour. My hubby is taking me on a photo trip maybe next weekend. I'm looking forward to it! I'm not sure WHY he wants to do that - because he'll be bored out of his mind

- but hey - he offered so I'm going to take him up on it! It should be fun (for me anyways).

So!  how about Google+??  Anyone interested?  I've got some invites if anyone is interested just let me know.  I'm really enjoying it there now. Good people - GREAT photography community.  Lots of people looking at your work and commenting, critiquing, etc.

So - WHO WANTS TO HAVE SOME FUN??!!!

I'd like to do a post processing challenge! This is how it works: I'll put out a RAW file - an untouched photo. Who ever is interested can do what they would like with it in the way of processing. Give it the works, make it yours!! And then send it back to me with a really quick over view of the process you followed. If enough people do it, I will make a news journal out of it (something I've never done before) and feature them all. It's an awesome way to see just how varied other people's "vision" and work flow is. I'd like people of all levels to participate - it's a way for us all to learn something new.

So, if you are interested (and I hope you are) please leave a message here and let me know. If there is enough interest we'll go ahead with it.
