who loves hand sanitizer. Seriously - loves it. So, at Christmas time I saw a large fancy bottle of cherry scented hand sanitizer which I bought for her. I also got her a matching bottle of hand soap. It looked totally different. The sanitizer was clear jelly and very pink. The soap was creamy, brown and had moisture beads in it.
So she's been sick with a cold so she brought the cherry one to work because it's convenient with the pump. So, I was saying how it smelled nice when she suddenly says "yeah, it's great - but that other one you got me is kind of strange."
So I thought about it for a moment or two then finally said "What other one??" "The other one you gave me at Christmas" to which I said "I don't think I gave you more than one hand sanitizer at Christmas..." And she said "yeah you did - it's in a bottle just like this one."
So I stood there and stared at her for what seemed like 2 minutes. Just stared at her. Finally I said "I'm pretty sure that was soap."
Well, holy crap - did I laugh at her! I mean - how could she not realize it was soap? Didn't it feel sticky after putting it on for like..... the rest of the day? The next time she washed her hands did she not see bubbles? Did the little moisture beads actually dissolve or were they gritty?? (apparently, yes, they were)
She was so embarrassed!
Aaaaahhh - she's a nice girl................ LOL!
It's nice to laugh at someone other than myself for a change......
So I told you that I ordered a lens. Well, I patiently waited for a week but when it didn't arrive I thought I should call and get a tracking number to see where it was. I found out that they sold out of them the day before I ordered (what?? you sold 10 of them in one day??) and that they don't have one to send me. So now I have to wait. I was really impressed by the way the contacted me to let me know so that I wasn't stalking my mail man every day. Bah! I hope I'm not getting taken for a ride with this. I HATE ordering stuff online but sometimes you just have to take the chance.
So, I wait. And I wait........
Let's see - what else is new? hmmm - I went to physio therapy for my shoulder today (that's right boys and girls - live it up in your youth because once you turn 40 it's all down hill. Don't believe the nay-sayers who claim that 40 is the new 30 and how you are going to love it - IT SUCKS!!) If I could remember who told me it was going to be great I'd go visit them and kick them in the ass. If you are one of those people, I'd watch over my shoulder if I was you. My memory comes and goes an you just never know when I'M going to remember your name.....
Anyways, I've been having a lot of shoulder pain. I now know that there is such a thing as tendonosis and I have it. Basically it's the muscle starting to thin out and fray. So, I had some treatment and was assigned some strength training home work and I will go back in a week for my next treatment. Nothing major, but some preventative medicine to do.
And GOOD NEWS!! the snow plow plowed our street today! yay! It's almost been a one lane street for most of the winter because of all the snow we've gotten this year - so it's much more open now. The bad news is that the snow banks are even bigger now, which makes it hard for short people (like me) in short cars (like mine) to see around corners.
Snow looks all white and fluffy and sparkly and pristine and stuff - but it really sucks. Especially after 5 months of it. Give me sand baby and I'll run barefoot in it and not have to get frost bite on my toes!
Well, that's enough useless blabber for one night. Thank you my friends for your support. I appreciate each and every one of you crazy people! Now, be careful of that hand sanitizer!!!
