How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

You see, I did something today.  Something that I've been meaning to do for a long time.  Something I've been putting off.

I bought a monitor calibrator.  Yep - that's right - I'm finally able to see my works, along with everyone else's the way it's meant to be seen.

And I'm not happy about it.

Thaaaaat's right - my work looks like crap!  It's faded out and icky looking.

Hence:  the spamming of your accounts.  I do apologize - for I will be re-working several of my photos and re-posting them and because they will be looking oh, so fabulous, I'm showing them to you all over again!  Aren't you just bubbling over with excitement?!!

I know I am!  I'm SOOOOO excited to go through my over 400 deviations, take them all back to the drawing board and reprocess them.  Oh yeah - I'm about as happy about it as a lumberjack with a forest to cut down with a broken axe.  Yeah, I'm as happy about it as a dieter eating a giant pile of celery.  I'm as happy as a kid with a pooper scooper in the spring......... you get the idea.........  I'm NOT happy about all the work I've done that is in the crapper and now has to be re-done!!

argh!  why, oh why, didn't I do this sooner?  Why did I procrastinate for so long?  Why am I so damn stupid??!!

I'm not sure if it's because I was dropped on my head as a child (several times) or if it's because my children have sucked my brains out, or if it's just that I'm suffering from a case of sock folding overload.  (did you know that there are twice as many *&$@*% socks to fold in the winter than there are in the summer?  and not only that - you have to actually FIND them and match them up first!!)  Maybe that's it...... once I'm done matching up a whole load of socks and looking for the missing pieces I'm virtually brain dead.  They should have a challenge like that on Survivor.  All the old moms would kick young people ass..........

Anyways, um.. sorry about that - but back to the spam - I hope that my spam that I am giving out to you isn't as awful as the disgusting canned variety.  If it is, let me know and I'll be sure to fry you up a pan of fritters to go with it.  yuuuuuummmmy!!

It's a little machine that you put on your screen, and the softwear tests your colours and adjusts your monitor to show colour correctly. Pretty slick - but I still should have done it sooner!
