First of all I would like to show you something very special!! I took this photo a while back of my Mother's hands:
And my lovely friend Laura
Isn't it just stunning??!! Wow! I'm so amazed and touched! That would not be an easy picture to draw - with all those lines and folds - and she did SUCH a great job!! Thank you Laura!! I love it!
Please visit Laura's page! She is an awesome artist!!
So, some of you have probably heard me talk about a new group that I helped get off the ground. We are called Post processing
and the purpose of our group is to see and learn from each other about post processing methods. Each challenge, we put forth a raw file and the members are free to download it and process it however they see fit. At the challenge end we put them all up, compare them and see the wide range of styles we all have.
In addition to this, the person who owned the original file (we will be accepting files from members) gets to choose which one they like the best and that person gets a feature. Along with that, each of the admins will also pick their favourite and feature it as well. So, without further adieu, Brian
put up this file and picked this edit as his favourite:
Jo's work is absolutely stunning! here is a small sample of her other works - visit her page to see even more amazingness!!
I picked this one
I like this one because it's old and scrappy looking. He really gave it a wonderful retro look, which to me is so peaceful and serene. (I need peace and serenity in my life!) I really like the textures and the grungy look of the edges!
Jim is fairly new to DA, so visit his page and show him some DA love!!
If you are interested in joining the group, please visit us! We'd love to have you!
