The Vampires Made Me Do It....

Earlier today hubby phoned me at work and asked me to take the Thanksgiving turkey out of the freezer when I got home.  I said "ok."

Then he came home from work and said "Did you take that turkey out of the freezer?"  and I said "um.. no.  I forgot.  I'll do it!"  Then he went out.

He came back and picked me up and we went out for dinner.  At dinner he asked me "Did you take that turkey out?"  and I said ...........

"Um.... nnnnooo."  (oops!!)

He just stared at me.

So I told him "Well.  It wasn't my fault."

All I got was more staring.... there may have been a raised eyebrow.  I'm not sure.  So I expanded on that.

"I was reading at the time.  I was distracted by the Vampires..."

   Still just a stare.  "You see - if a Vampire looks you right in the eyes they can take over you mind and make you do what ever they want and nothing else matters."

"You.  Were.  Reading.  A.  Book."

"Well.......  I have a very vivid imagination."

  "The Vampires made me do it."

That's my damn story and I'm sticking to it.  I figured it was best to not even bring up the Werewolves......
