Took this picture while at La Jolla Beach in California last summer.
I don't know what kind of trees these are but I fell in love with them - so twisted on the bottoms, and so full of flowers on the tops! I would have liked to sit in amongst these trees for a while, and just watch and listen to the waves crash on the shore.

Unfortunately, I don't know what they are either. 
But I've never seen any plant with so many different coloured flowers on one plant! 
And I've always loved gnarly & bent trees: Japanese Maples are Wonderful.
